Our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Both are fellowship trained in pediatric orthopedic surgery and spine problems in children. They have also served as faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where they trained orthopedic residents in the care of pediatric patients.
Dr. Jeff Warman is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He grew up in New York City and attended the Bronx High School of Science. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Union College in Schenectedy, New York, he pursued his medical degree and orthopedic residency program at SUNY Brooklyn. He then completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana under the LSU Department of Orthopedic Surgery. After completing his training, he accepted a position on the faculty of the Orthopedic Department at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. In 1994, Dr. Warman left Texas Tech to move to San Antonio and begin a career in private practice. He established Pediatric Orthopedic and Scoliosis Center of South Texas in November of 2005.
Dr. Will Koeck is a pediatric orthopedist who is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He has a special interest in scoliosis, but he is well-trained in all musculoskeletal problems in children. Dr. Koeck is a native of the Texas Hill country. He attended Texas A&M and was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets and the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. Following his undergraduate training, he completed his medical school training at the UT Medical School in Houston. He then returned to San Antonio for his residency in orthopedics at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. After residency, he was selected for a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He spent time at both Texas Children's Hospital and Shriner’s Hospital for Children during his fellowship. Dr. Koeck then accepted an appointment to the faculty at the UT Health Science Center where he practiced for 3 years.
In 2010, he served as chief of orthopedics at Santa Rosa Children's Hospital. He has been named one of “San Antonio's Top Doctors” in Scene in San Antonio magazine. Dr. Koeck is married with two children.
